Melissa's MSE Purple/lilac card challenge

Over on MSE Melissa75 won my 'make a flower' challenge. So it was her turn to set the challenge. She chose a colour theme of purple/lilac. Heres my entry.

I used one of my Sarah Kay Decoupage sheets, which are VERY hard to cut out lol. Then i coloured white e-line Prima flowers in 3 shades of purple. I used my new MS frond punch to punch white leaves and again coloured them with my Promarkers.I used card candy to finish the flowers. Padingtondoo had sent me the gorgeous backing paper in this months stash swap. So i had to use that ;o) . The whole card was put together on a purple card. I havent added a sentiment yet as im not sure what/who its for ;o)

Wedding challenge at CCW

Over at Creative Craft World. The next challenge is a Wedding theme one .

It can be anything Wedding related . So a card/ Scrapbook LO/ invitation or even a favour box.

The challenge is sponsored by The Crafty Pad Stamp Designs. Entries are accepted up to midnight on Sunday 4th July.

Heres my Wedding themed things.

I made the card by backing a white 6x6 card with Bazzil Bling 'String of Pearls' I then coloured my Magnolia Wedding couple image with my Promarkers and finished it off with Stickles and Glossy accents. I layered the image up onto a Matt Gold Card. The swirls were cut from Brocade Bazzil Basics using my Marianne Designs die. I didnt stick them flat onto the card to give them abit of dimension and then finished with gems. I also cut a white ribbon threader die. Which i added Ivory ribbon and lots of gems too

Heres a favor box that i made. Using the same card as above and lots of gems. But this time i used a Prima flower.. Ameruse Duchess Mix and tied the box up with burgundy ribbon from my stash.

Heres my items together with the name place card that i made. I used the same swirl as the wedding card and gems. Then made it so the persons name could slip in amongst the swirls.
When it came to my own wedding, nearly 4 years ago. I wanted to make something personally for that also. Below are pictures of the table plan that i made. Also the guest book that i covered and customised the inside with questions. We had some hillarious answers to some of our questions. They still make me giggle when i read them now..

The table plan was made by using a very large handmade red sheet of paper (i think it was 50x80) I listed the table names and who would be sitting on that table. Then layered up the card amd hung it onto gold thread ,using double sided tape to hold it in place.
I made the guest book by using a basic Tesco one that was the wrong colours for our wedding. So i covered the book in the same fabric/paper as the table plan. Added our colours. My dress was red and gold. Bridesmaids were gold and flowergirls were in ivory. ( Im not really a traditional kind of gal ;o) ) I then set to decorating the inside and wrote questions such as. Who did you arrive with ? Favorite bit of the day ? Advise for the bride and groom ? etc I thought that was a great idea and we had some really funny answers ;o)

Stitchy Sparkles

I absolutely adore this new stamp, that Stitchy sent me to have a play with. I printed her off 8 times ( insert embarrassed face here lol) .Then set to, deciding which was just her colour ;o) .
Please click on the pictures as they magically grow bigger if you do :O)

So heres my take of Sparkles, shes a garden fairy. She loves scattering shining sprinkle dust and all things Sparkly. Even her dress if very sparkly.

Being a garden fairy, of course she has to make all the flowers sparkly. :O)

I wanted to make Sparkes really sparkle. So i coloured her in my Promarkers and added Glossy accents to her wings and shoes. The sparkle was stickles that i added to her dress and hairband. Her hand was the wrong way round for the scene i wanted to create. So i made it appear as if her sparkles came from her antenna/wing tips. Stickles was added to the card to appear as if the sparkle shot, from there and onto the flowers. Can you see a sparkle theme here ? LOL.
So to add abit more to my theme. I set myself loose with the gems ;o) Lots of clear ones were added to the main red flower and i popped a fair few blue ones at certain places around the finished card ( just to keep the blue/ green thing going) I even added glossy accents to the flower stem and leaves. You can NEVER have too many sparkles ;o)
The blue flower with the butterfly beneath it was originally a white one. I coloured it with my Promarkers,so it fit with the theme of my card. Baby Blue ribbon was added at the edges of the card Then finally after abit of distressing. I put my card together and set it onto a light green card.
